It’s worth emphasizing that Ionic’s open-source core — Ionic Framework and Capacitor — remains completely free, fully supported, and unaffected by this change. However, if your applications rely on our commercial enterprise plugins, you’ll need to transition to alternative solutions before the EOL date.

Early Migration & Prorated Refunds

If your team completes your migration ahead of your contract renewal, we’ll terminate your current Ionic agreement early and issue a prorated refund for any unused, prepaid service. Once your migration is complete, simply reach out to support@ionic.io to request your adjustment and refund.

Alternative: Self-Hosting via Maintenance Materials License

If your team prefers to maintain your current setup and take direct ownership of the plugin source code rather than migrating, the existing code is available under our Maintenance Materials License. Contact support@ionic.io if you’d like to explore this self-hosted path and execute the agreement.
